Upper Jaw of Frog
Cryptobranchus alleganiensis has a lower jaw is curved and possess numerous teeth. These teeth are small, bicuspid, and arranged in a single row. The bicuspid teeth can be seen even in the larval form of the salamander. The vomerine teeth are arranged in parallel to, and behind the premaxillary/maxillary tooth row, the premaxilla has about 16 teeth, the maxilla has about 75 teeth, the vomer about 6 teeth, and the dentary about 65 teeth.
